Awesome August

So... every year I have this thing for 'August'. It started years ago... when I looked forward to celebrating my birthday each August. Then it progressed to noticing other special things that happened to me every August. And now, i just look forward to August each year... knowing something fabulous is going to happen! It doesn't necessarily mean something 'will' happen - but i guess its how i perceive things that happen... :)

So anyway, I've always wanted to write something about 'Awesome August' - and here's something presentable.

When the world will be a happy place
And my luck will have its say
In ways more than one

It isn’t too far away
The shiny days that I’m looking forward to
When the clouds will still be grey-blue
But now with magic in its downpour

Oh, it’s a time
When the world is mine
And I’ll make all my dreams come true

And it’s that time
When I feel divine
And it might even get me closer to you

And I’m jumpin’
Jumpin’ July
Wish I could fly
Into a new day
Into a new month
Into a new rush
Awesome August

Its getting closer
The days when I get to break free again
With a lot more joy and lesser pain
And cherish those special moments

Oh, it’s a time
When the world is mine
And I’ll make all my dreams come true

And it’s that time
When I feel divine
And it might even get me closer to you

What have you in store for me?
I hope it’s the dream, fairy tale story
I can feel it, this time around, it’s my glory
