Storm

Everything looks alright on the surface
You can't tell whats going on behind close doors
Life's filled with risks and surprises
What you make of it, is only yours to show

Don't be afraid to face your fears
That's the only way to find who you really are
So push up your sleeves and wipe away the tears
You will really go faaaar

Standing on the pier
Everything looks clear
The seagulls are calling, It's time to fly back home
The water gently laps
Covering all the extra gaps
A street dog he covers, waiting for the storm

You may want to think through day and night
What's the point when all you're doing is losing your sleep
Whatever's gonna happen, happens right
What you sow, yeah, so shall you reeeeeep

Standing on the pier
Everything looks clear
The seagulls are calling, It's time to fly back home
The water gently laps
Covering all the extra gaps
A street dog he covers, waiting for the storm; to blow over

As the rain starts to pour
I close my eyes
Wash away the lies
Remove my disguise

And the trees start to sway
I stand my ground
With wind all around
Won't let it pull me down

Standing on the pier
Everything looks clear
The seagulls are calling, It's time to fly back home
The water gently laps
Covering all the extra gaps
A street dog he covers, waiting for the storm

Standing on the pier
Everything looks clear
The seagulls are calling, It's time to fly back home
The water gently laps
Covering all the extra gaps
A street dog he covers, waiting for the storm; to blow over

  1. You know there is a song on a similar note...

Stand my ground, I won't give in
No more denying, I gotta face it
Won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside
If I don't make it, someone else will
    Stand My Ground
