New Year

Hmmm, a new day, a new week and soon a new year! Can't believe 2010 went by so quick. Its been SUCH an eventful year... totally awesome! But i'm sure 2011 has so much more in store for me... i'm looking forward to it.

The above was my thought process as i wrote down the below verses. So u can see, while i started talking about it being 'monday' and the start of the week, i ended up being excited about the new year! lol =)

Hey long week ahead
Be good to me, will ya?
The fun weekend's over
And its time to get back to the grind now

The stress at work
The funny people i come across
Join me in the bandwagon
It's gonna be one hell of a ride

Got so much to look forward to
What news will i get this week?
Some good and some bad
As long as its exciting, i'll be happy

By midway, i'll be tired
I'll be complaining that its going too slow
But the next day, i'll be back in form
Cos i'll remember i've got the weekend to gloat

And so the cycle continues
One week after another
Some things new and others old
And then suddenly, we're approaching a new year

Hey long year ahead
Be good to me, will ya?
Crazy 2010's almost over
Looking forward to a crazy 2011, hallelujah
