Sooner

I would never know... what i never had. That one line is what this poem is all about! You will never know... what you never had! I'm using the example of a relationship in this... but this could really be anything (good or bad!) that's happened in your life!

If we had met sooner
Would you have loved me?
Times are always gonna be ever-changing
Would you let it be?

If we had met sooner
Would things have been different?
Would you have accepted me for who i was
With all our difference?

If we had met sooner
Would we have lasted together?
I always seem to be one step ahead of you
Even under pressure

If we had met sooner
Would it have been worth while?
What’s the point of having a relationship
That's without a smile?

Thank god we never met sooner
Even through the good and bad
For i’d never have learnt what i have learnt today
I’d never know what I never had!
